International Student Undergraduate Scholarships at Utica College

Limited financial assistance is available for non-U.S. citizens. International students may qualify for aid in the form of:

Grants
Grants are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic achievement, range from $2,000 to $12,000 per year. These do not require a separate application.

Loans
Private loans are available to students with either a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident as a co-signer.

Student Employment
Limited student worker positions are available on campus.

Management Development Institute Program for HIV/AIDS Service Providers, South Africa international students scholarship

This is a one-week intensive program designed for top management of African organizations dedicated to providing prevention, treatment and care and support services in the area of HIV/AIDS. The goal of the program is to provide leaders of these service organizations with management tools, frameworks, and knowledge that enable them to increase the quantity and quality of services they provide.

The program has been designed by world-class management faculty from the prestigious University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and is delivered in conjunction with instructors from African universities. The program is funded by Johnson & Johnson, one of the most admired companies in the world today, and is offered in cooperation with The African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) in Nairobi, the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in Accra and the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa. Upon completion of the training the candidates receive a certificate from the University of California.

The program will be held as follows:

•For Southern Africa Organizations: August 22 to 28, 2010, at University of Cape Town, Cape Town – South Africa
Application deadline: 12th July, 2010

•For West African Organizations: August 29 to September 4, 2010, at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra – Ghana

SCHOLARSHIPS

The cost of the MDI training program is US$ 4,000 per participant. Johnson and Johnson awards scholarships to managers who have the greatest potential to positively impact the quantity and quality of services in their organization. These scholarships cover the cost of tuition, training materials, accommodation and meals. Travel expenses, if required, will be borne by the participants or their organization.
